Gerry truly was one of a kind — the type of person who could light up any room just by walking into it. His warmth, humor, and caring nature touched everyone lucky enough to know him.

"You have left a mark that won't be forgotten."

Holding you all in our hearts ❤️ Gerry touched so many lives and will be dearly missed. Xxx

Tracey and all of Gerry's family and friends in England and Ireland, sincere sympathy at this sad time. I have fond memories of Gerry's annual trip to Cork, the preparation, the never-ending conversation, food, trips to Ballymaloe and the English Market, the special trips to Mount Melleray Abbey and of course his and Mike's (Mick) nightly music sessions. Dear Gerry, rest in peace. We will miss you.

Gerry was a kind and generous man. He gave good advice and support with patience and understanding. I’ll miss our chats and DiY projects that provided an opportunity for Gerry to share some of his knowledge and skills from a lifetime as a plumber. While we shared a glass of beer and/ or wine.

Gerry was a one of a kind man! He always made me feel welcomed and loved even from the first time I met him. He will be dearly missed but I know that he’s watching down on us and will always be with us.

I had the privilege of getting to know Gerry through his longstanding friendship with my late Dad. They were in ‘The Munstermen’ together in Birmingham back in the day. They shared a common love of music, good food, good beer and Aran jumpers. He was a true gentleman. My thoughts are with his beloved family at this difficult time. Rest in peace the legend that was Gerry Norris, you were one in a million xx
